Dorcas joined Maliasili in March 2026, based in Accra – Ghana. Prior to joining Maliasili, she has worked for almost a decade in the enterprise development sector supporting small and medium-sized enterprises across Ghana and Rwanda predominantly to build viable business and revenue models, develop systems and structures for increased performance and to become investment ready. She stumbled into the conservation sector through capacity development work with the Ankasa Tano and Jelinkon CREMAs in Ghana which piqued her interest about the sector in Ghana. She is passionate about making conservation an economically viable choice for communities and its people through improved livelihoods and finds fulfilment in support organisations to achieve more impact, growth and performance. She hopes that through her work with Maliasili, more awarenss and support for the sector in West Africa can be achieved and collaborations across landscapes, organsiations and regions can be catalysed.Outside of work, you will find her in church if searching or engaged in deep and intimate conversations with her hat of a learner always on.
