The Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area is the second-largest landscape level conservation area in the world, spanning the international borders of five Southern Africa countries. It has the ambitious plan to sustainably manage the Kavango Zambezi ecosystem, its heritage and cultural resources based on best conservation and tourism models for the socio-economic wellbeing of the communities and other stakeholders through harmonization of policies, strategy and practice. It’s success depends upon a vast array of actors. Maliasili will showcase how its partners working in all 5 KAZA countries are contributing towards KAZA’s ambitious plans.
