INDRI works to strengthen Madagascar’s environmental leadership and conservation capacity through innovative training and support programs. As a capacity-building organization, they focus on developing the next generation of conservation leaders while strengthening existing environmental organizations across the country.
Their comprehensive programs include: leadership training for conservation professionals; organizational development support for local environmental groups; technical assistance in project design and implementation; and network building among conservation organizations. They work to bridge the gap between international best practices and local realities in conservation management.
Since its establishment, INDRI has trained hundreds of conservation professionals, strengthened dozens of local organizations, and helped develop more effective conservation programs across Madagascar. Their work has contributed to building a more robust and effective conservation sector in one of the world’s most biodiverse countries.
