Who is someone who's inspired your leadership, and why?

The late Morgan Tsvangirai, opposition leader and former Prime Minister of Zimbabwe. He stepped up in pressing national times, a created the biggest opposition party in Zimbabwe, Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) eventually becoming a Prime Minister. Many greater political leaders emerged after his demise that had been under his wings and mentorship, and they have continued the fight, ensuring his legacy continues. I am inspired by how he stepped up and empowered others for the vision to live beyond him.

What motivates you to do your job?

I am motivated by the desire to amplify local voices in the fight against biodiversity loss.

What piece of advice would you give to an aspiring leader in African conservation?

Step up and step out, and remember to empower others for your vision to continue beyond you.
